School Consult Services:  

Kidspace occupational therapists can provide professional consultation for educators of children of all ages and grade levels. The target population of consultation is school teachers, administrators, and support staff with a shared goal to enhance attention, performance, and regulation in the learning environment.

Specific services offered:  

• Sensory friendly environment design 
• Recommendations for classroom accommodations 
• Curriculum selection (Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking, Superflex) 
• In-services for teachers and staff 
• Sample in-service topics: sensory processing, fine motor development, Zones of Regulation, Social Thinking, handwriting development , creating sensory friendly environments

Direct Occupational Therapy Services: 

Kidspace occupational therapists can provide in-school, direct occupational therapy treatment for individuals and/or groups of children of all ages and grade levels. 

Treatment can address any area of OT specific to school-based occupations such as:

• Gross and Fine Motor Skill Development
• Handwriting 
• Sensory Integration 
• Emotional regulation 
• Social skills
