General Rules
- All staff and individuals entering the clinic are required to wear a mask or face covering, with the exception of children who are unable to remain masked. Adult and child size masks are made available at the clinic.
- Our clinicians follow CDC recommendations for sanitization and hand-washing, which includes cleaning hands and requiring children to clean hands before and after each session.
Waiting Room Protocol
- The waiting room is OPEN for drop-off and pick-up directly from your child's appointment. Therapists are no longer picking up and dropping off at the front door of the clinic.
- We understand that city and county guidelines are shifting, but as a pediatric therapy clinic, we operate as a healthcare facility, and all individuals in the waiting room are required to remain masked at all times.
Illness Cancellation Policy
- In the case of illness, please notify your therapist directly by 8am. If the appointment begins earlier than 9am, please notify at least one hour before your scheduled appointment time. Otherwise, you will be billed for the missed appointment.
- Kidspace therapists will work with you to reschedule missed sessions when it is safe for your child to return to in-clinic services.
- Should your child test positive for COVID-19, please reach out to your therapist to arrange rescheduling/telehealth.
- Following a positive case of COVID-19, your child must complete the mandatory 5-day quarantine period and be symptom free prior to your first appointment back in the clinic.
Kidspace also offers a number of services in addition to in-clinic occupational therapy sessions. Please review our 'In-Clinic Alternatives' for more information
